can you find anything?

As those who know me a safe place is anything but, I continue to try to organize my home.  In the endeavor, I have purchased two new pieces .  I have a new chest of drawers for my room and a cabinet for my kitchen,  They look great.  See moblog for pictures.  I an currently cleaning and straighten the house in anticipation of my aunt, Carol, coming next Tuesday.  Alex kindly put together the cabinets as they were purchase at Ikea. A new rug for the front room was also found..  It is gorgeous.  I was upset Sunday because I could not get help at Ikea to help lift items.  The cabinet I bought was broken which meant a long trip back to Ikea.  I t turns out to be a blessing in disguise because Alex came with me and Patrick needed a ride to the bus line. He accompanied us to the store. . It was great to have two strong men with me,  I gladly shop and they carried,  We grab a a hot dog and drink.  We made it in time to take Patrick to his ride,  He is a very special person.

Lunch with the Youngs

Mom( aka G-ma) and I went to Tempe to have lunch with Jenny and Jeriamiah. We went to Ztejas.  The food was very good and the company excellent.  We had a great time.  I wevt ot Ikea and Mom did not want to go in so she stayed in the car.  I decide to use my mind to check in with her.  When I concentrated, I could feel she was hot and restless.  So I flew through the remainder of the store until I felt her relaxed again.  I finish quickly and went to the car.  I asked her how she was doing and her reply was she got hot and restless but then put on the air conditioning so she was currently all right,  Weird, huh

A New vision?

I went to the eye doctor today to have some tests to my eyes.  I have had various symtoms and Dr. Thomas wanted to have the tests done.  I had episodes of blue and red vision as well as difficulty perceiving some fainter lights and trouble with night vision,  The results is that the thin fiber thread along my retinas has diminishes or reduce in numbers. He said that I have lost some light perception on the outer portion of my visual field. I have had borderline high pressure in my eyes for 10 years.  He is putting me on eye drops to see if that will help.  This is not related to diabetes but to glaucoma.  Crap, like I need anything else wrong with me. Don’t worry faithful readers, I do not think that the vision changes will happen rapidly but is part of the aging process but I deny getting older.  hehe

What wonderful things plants are

I was in the garden today planting and weeding.  It was wonderful. I went and bought additional plants yesterday. Luckily I only spent 92 dollars.  G—, I love gardening.  It is such a Zen experience to get out and play in the dirt. Today is the last day of my vacation and I return to the real world tomorrow.  Oh well, it was great while it lasted.  I only have to work 7 days in November so I should not complain.  I have lots of work to do on my back yard so I will take pictures when it looks better. Vacation totals 57 tasks on my list , completed 14, voting once, art none, cleaning minimal. Time away from work, priceless. grin
